02 HARDCORE CRIMINALS ABSCONDING IN POCSO CASE ARRESTED BY SAMBA POLICE

Samba, December 21: In continuation to its drive against the Absconders/Criminals, Samba Police has apprehended two absconders wanted in POCSO case registered at Police Station RS Pura district Jammu.

A Police team headed by SHO PS Vijaypur under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur and under the overall supervision of SSP Samba succeeded in apprehending absconders namely Bashir Ahmed @ Paa S/o Mohd Noor R/o Langotian Miran Sahib district Jammu and Roshan Din S/o Mohd Sadiq R/o Barmal tehsil Bishnah district Jammu wanted in case FIR No. 181/2023 U/S 363/323/343/376D/509/109/201 IPC registered at Police Station RS Pura. The said accused were evading their arrest after the commission of the crime.

Accordingly, the said absconders produced in the court of law and sent to District Jail Ambphalla Jammu. Thus the arrest warrant u/s 512 CrPC issued against them got executed.

It is pertinent to mention here that hardcore criminal Bashir Ahmed @ Paa is also an absconder in a case FIR No. 79/2022 U/S 307/427/34 IPC& 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Ramban.

SSP Samba warned strict action against the people indulging in drug trafficking, bovine smuggling and other criminal activities and also sought the cooperation of people in this regard.
