50 BOTTLES OF ILLICIT LIQUOR SEIZED: BOTTLEGGER ARRESTED BY DISTRICT POLICE UDHAMPUR
Police team of PS Udhampur led by its SHO while performing routine patrolling duty, apprehended one person namely Om Singh S/O Late Suram Chand R/O Narsoo Chenani who was turning to be suspicious as he tried to flee from the spot on seeing police team.
During frisking/checking, 50 quarters of JK Special Whisky (bottles measuring 180 ml) were recovered which he had kept in his possession. The said person has been arrested on spot.
In this regards, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Udhampur and further investigation taken up.
