60 Lakh Devotees Take a Holy Dip at Sangam by 9 AM on Paush Purnima
Prayagraj: On the auspicious occasion of Paush Purnima, approximately 60 lakh devotees had taken a holy dip at the Sangam in Prayagraj by 9 AM today.
The bathing ritual has been successfully completed so far without any untoward incidents.
Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place to ensure the safety of the pilgrims.
According to official data released by the Uttar Pradesh government, by 7:30 AM, around 35 lakh devotees had already participated in the holy ritual.
