SAMBA POLICE ARRESTED HARDCORE CRIMINAL WITH COUNTRY-MADE PISTOL
156 Hardcore Criminals Arrested In Eleven Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Dec 26 : Samba police has arrested a hardcore criminal and recovered country-made pistol from his possession in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur.
The arrested hardcore criminal has been identified as Vishal Sharma s/o Sat Pal Sharma r/o Raja Chack, tehsil Akhnoor district Jammu.
A case FIR No.188/2023 u/s 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation is underway.
Two more cases of attempt to murder, Arms Act & assault under FIR No. 269/2019 u/s 353/332 IPC (now challaned) and FIR No. 43/2023 u/s 307/451/147/148/504/506/323 IPC, 4/25 Arms Act (now challaned) were registered at police station Akhnoor against hardcore criminal Vishal Sharma in the year 2019 and 2023 respectively.
The hardcore criminal was arrested at a special naka of police station Vijaypur near BDO office.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that a total of one hundred fifty six (156) hardcore criminals have been arrested by Samba police in past eleven months and strong legal action is being taken against the criminals, miscreants and ’gunda’ elements in the district.
