SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS BOVINE SMUGGLER, RESCUES 4 BOVINES, SEIZES VEHICLE
Samba, March 9 : Samba Police has today foiled bovine smuggling attempt in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba, arrested bovine smuggler, rescued four bovines and seized vehicle used in the illegal transportation of bovines.
A Police team of Police Post Mansar headed by Incharge Police Post Mansar during vehicle checking at naka Mansar, intercepted a Mahindra load carrier vehicle bearing registration number JK02CH- 9934 for checking. During checking of the vehicle, four bovines were found laden inside the vehicle which were tied in a cruel manner and were being transported illegally without any valid permission.
The bovine smuggler identified as Talab Hussain S/o Mohd. Bashir R/o Maralian, RS Pura district Jammu has been arrested and the vehicle has also been seized.
A case FIR No. 62/2024 u/s 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act, has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
