2 BOVINE SMUGGLERS ARRESTED, 14 BOVINES RESCUED BY SAMBA POLICE
Samba, April 13: Continuing its drive against bovine smugglers and their propagators, Samba Police has today foiled two bovine smuggling attempts in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba, arrested two bovine smugglers and rescued fourteen bovines.
Acting on reliable information regarding smuggling of bovines near Bindu Paida, Mansar, a police party of Police Post Mansar headed by Incharge PP Mansar has successfully foiled bovine smuggling attempt and rescued seven bovines which were being smuggled by foot in a very cruel manner from Samba side towards Kashmir valley.
The arrested bovine smuggler has been identified as Anzar S/o Noor Hussain R/o Kokernag, district Anantnag.
A case FIR No.96/2024 U/S 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
In another incident of bovine smuggling, a police party of Police Post Goran headed by Incharge Police Post Goran has successfully foiled bovine smuggling attempt near Dhaki road Sumb, arrested bovine smuggler and rescued seven bovines which were being smuggled by foot.
The arrested bovine smuggler has been identified as Tanvir Ahmed s/o Junaid Ahmed R/o Hundar tehsil Arnas district Reasi.
A case FIR No.97/2024 U/S 188 IPC has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
