Kedarnath Cloudbrust: All Kedarnath pilgrims are requested to postpone their pilgrimage

  • About 01 km ahead of Sonprayag main market, a large part of the road has been washed out due to river erosion and hill cracking. At present, any kind of pedestrian movement is also not possible here.
  • Similarly, pedestrian paths have been damaged at many places around Gaurikund, between Jungle Chatti and Bhimbali, ahead of Bhimbali police post, and in Lyncholi area.
  • • At present, the water level of the rivers is below the danger mark.
  • All the pilgrims who have reached Rudraprayag district should stay safe wherever they are, postpone their Kedarnath Dham Yatra for the time being. Because the condition of the motor road and pedestrian path beyond Sonprayag is not good at all. Information regarding the repair of the road and smooth journey will be sent separately.
