POLICE SEIZES 2 VEHICLES INCLUDING DUMPER FOR ILLEGAL MINING

Samba, September 05: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Police has seized two vehicles including dumper in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba and Police Station Purmandal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material. Police teams headed by SHO PS Purmandal and I/C PP Supwal falling under PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional areas, have seized a dumper bearing registration No. JK21K-5556 and a tractor trolley without registration No. for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
