Former President Donald Trump recently survived what is being described as a second assassination attempt, this time at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The incident occurred when a gunman was spotted near the perimeter of the Trump International Golf Club with an AK-style rifle. The Secret Service quickly intervened, firing at the suspect, who fled in an SUV but was apprehended later by law enforcement. Thankfully, Trump was unharmed and safely returned to his Mar-a-Lago residence after the event.

This attempt follows a similar incident in July, when Trump was injured by a grazing bullet during a rally. The FBI and Secret Service are investigating both cases, while Trump publicly praised their quick response, acknowledging their role in saving his life. Law enforcement continues to monitor the situation as Trump prepares to return to the campaign trail.
