POLICE FOILS BOVINE SMUGGLING ATTEMPT: BOVINE SMUGGLER ARRESTED, 5 BOVINES RESCUED
Samba, October 13: Police has successfully foiled bovine smuggling attempt, arrested a bovine smuggler and rescued five bovines in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal.
A Police party of Police Post Rajpura headed by Incharge PP Rajpura under SHO PS Ghagwal has successfully foiled bovine smuggling attempt near Madoon, arrested bovine smuggler and rescued five bovines which were being smuggled by foot from Kathua side towards Samba side via border road.
The arrested bovine smuggler has been identified as Mohd Sadiq S/O Shab Din R/O Mathra Chak district Kathua.
A case FIR No. 137/2024 U/S 223 BNS 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Ghagwal and investigation started.
