Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 08 bovines rescued, 01 vehicle seized by JKP in Sub-division Nagrota.

Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Post Manwal has foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 08 bovines were rescued from a vehicle bearing registration number No. JK14E/8543 at Naka Nadal .The driver of the vehicle arrested on the spot namely Mohd Farooq S/o Mall Hussain R/o Gorn Samba A/p Khoon Majalta Distt Udhampur.
*08 bovines were rescued and vehicle seized.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 231/2024 U/S 223/BNS 11 PCA Act has been registered in Police Station Jhajjar Kotli
Further investigation is underway.
General public have appreciated the continuous and strict actions of police against Bovine smugglers.
