Two Terrorists Killed in Encounter with Security Forces in Anantnag

Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir — In an anti-terror operation in Anantnag district, security forces neutralized two terrorists on Saturday after a gunbattle erupted in the area. The encounter unfolded when forces launched a search operation based on intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists hiding in the vicinity.
This encounter comes just hours after a similar operation in Srinagar’s Khanyar area. Saturday’s incident marks the fourth terrorist-related activity in the Kashmir valley since Friday.
On Friday, two migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh were shot and injured by unidentified gunmen in Budgam district. Both victims were immediately taken to JVC Hospital in Bemina, Srinagar, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Security operations continue in various areas across the valley as forces maintain a heightened alert.
