MV INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Organises 18th Annual Function: LG Manoj Sinha was the Chief Guest
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha graced the 18th Annual Function of MV International School as the Chief Guest. The function was held at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. In his address the Lieutenant Governor congratulated school administration, teachers and the students for putting up commendable performances. He laid special emphasis on developing a productive teaching learning ecosystem where teachers are not restricted to curriculum only, but are free to share their experiences and wisdom with students. Speaking on the reforms introduced in education sector, in the past few years, he said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are witnessing an educational revolution across the country.
Distinguished Guests of Honour Padma Shri Prof. Vishwamurti Shastri; Padma Shri Mohan Singh; Padma Shri Romalo Ram & Padma Shri Dr. S. P. Varma along with special guests Ashok Kumar Sharma, JKAS Director School Education Jammu & Sahitya Akademi Bal Sahitya Awardee Bishan Singh Dardi were honoured for significant contribution in their respective fields.
Students presented captivating performances highlighting social issues; a pledge to stop food wastage was also as administered along with the release of Guru Vahini Vaishnavi Bhajan video by the Chief Guest. The Cultural programme was reflection of the schools commitment to provide holistic learning environment in sync with traditional Indian moral ethics with futuristic approach. Major highlight was the presentation of 5 HP laptops to class 12th toppers of District Samba in CBSE Examination 2024 along with scholarships and awards worth Three Lakh Twenty Six Thousand Two Hundred & Two Hundred Eighty Five (₹3,26,285/-) to outstanding academic and sports achievers.
