Katra, December 14: Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) and Lt. Governor of Jammu & Kashmir UT, is set to inaugurate the Shubhra Bhawan, a multi-utility complex at Banganga, on December 18, 2024. The facility aims to enhance the comfort and convenience of pilgrims visiting the revered Holy Shrine.

Located just half a kilometer from Darshani Deodi, the starting point of the conventional route to the Holy Shrine, Shubhra Bhawan is a state-of-the-art complex designed to cater to the evolving needs of pilgrims and staff.

Following a poojan ceremony, Shri Anshul Garg, CEO of SMVDSB, conducted a thorough inspection of the complex along with Shrine Board officers and the engineering team. Highlighting the significance of the project, he remarked, “Shubhra Bhawan is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the pilgrimage experience. With its modern amenities, the complex ensures a comfortable, secure, and fulfilling journey for devotees.”

18 modern residential quarters for staff.

Advanced security systems including CCTV cameras, access control, and fire alarms.
