J&K Services Selection Board Cancels Withheld Recommendations for Sub-Inspector Posts
In a recent notification issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), the withheld recommendations for two candidates from the Final Selection List for the posts of Sub-Inspector, Finance Department, have been canceled. The affected candidates are Mr. Abhijeet Saini (EWS Category) and Mr. Amar Bashir (RBA Category).
The Final Selection List for 62 posts was initially notified on July 29, 2024, under Notification No. 25-Selection of 2024. The recommendations for these two candidates were withheld due to deficiencies in required documents and clarifications.
Despite multiple notices, including a Final Notice dated October 3, 2024, to submit the requisite documents within five days, the candidates failed to comply. The matter was deliberated in the 290th Board Meeting on November 27, 2024, where it was decided to cancel their withheld recommendations.
As per the Board’s decision, the withheld recommendations for both candidates have been canceled ab initio. This decision was made for the posts advertised under Notification No. 04 of 2020, dated December 16, 2020.
The notification emphasizes the importance of submitting requisite documents within stipulated timeframes to avoid such cancellations in future recruitment processes.
