Police Seize Truck Carrying Bovine Animals in Hiranagar in wee hours
Hiranagar, January 16, 2025: In the early hours of Thursday, at approximately 5:00 AM, the Hiranagar Police successfully intercepted a truck during a routine checkpoint at Londhi More. The vehicle, bearing registration number JK02DF-2986, was found to be illegally transporting bovines.
Upon stopping the truck, officers initiated a thorough search, which led to the discovery of the animals. The exact number of bovines is yet to be confirmed as counting is still underway.
This operation is part of the ongoing efforts by the Hiranagar Police to curb illegal activities in the area. Further investigation into the case is currently in progress, and appropriate action will be taken against those involved.
