DC Samba Inaugurates Job Fair: Empowers Youth with Employment Opportunities

Samba, January 23: The Deputy Commissioner of Samba, Mr. Rajesh Sharma, inaugurated a Job Fair organized by the District Employment & Counseling Centre, Samba, aimed at providing job opportunities and promoting self-employment among the youth.

The event witnessed participation from 10 reputed companies and attracted over 300 job seekers from the district. During the fair, 62 candidates were successfully shortlisted for various roles, showcasing the event’s success in bridging the gap between employers and job aspirants.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Rajesh Sharma emphasized the importance of such initiatives in addressing unemployment and empowering young individuals with access to diverse career opportunities. He also highlighted the availability of self-employment schemes for those interested in entrepreneurial ventures.

The job fair was lauded for its well-coordinated efforts and the proactive participation of both employers and job seekers, marking a significant step toward youth empowerment and economic growth in the region.
