NIA Raids Residences of Two Suspected OGWs in Jammu

Jammu, March 19, 2025: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted early morning raids at two locations in Jammu, targeting suspected Over Ground Workers (OGWs) with alleged links to terrorist organizations.

At approximately 6:30 AM, an NIA team raided the residence of Bashir, a suspected OGW, in Malik Market, Bathindi. Bashir, originally from Talab Khatikan, came under the agency’s scanner for his alleged involvement in terror-related activities.

Simultaneously, another NIA team raided the residence of Mohd Saleem, son of Abdul Kareem, in Safa Valley, Bathindi. Saleem, a native of Arnas, District Reasi, is also suspected of supporting terrorist networks.

Sources indicate that the raids were conducted based on credible intelligence inputs. While the operation is still in progress, officials have stated that the situation remains stable and is being closely monitored. Further details are awaited.
