No Clue of Terrorists in Kathua’s Sanyal Village: DGP Nalin Prabhat Himself Leads Anti-Terror Operation

Kathua, [Date]: The combing operation in Sanyal village of Kathua district, led by Jammu and Kashmir DGP Nalin Prabhat, entered its third day on Tuesday as security forces intensified their hunt for suspected Pakistani terrorists believed to be hiding in the area.

According to reports, the terrorists managed to evade capture, leaving behind crucial evidence. Security forces recovered four M4 carbine magazines, four ID packs, a bulletproof jacket, a sleeping bag, a pair of shoes, a tracksuit, and other items, suggesting an attempted escape.

Security Forces Tighten Grip Along the International Border

The operation is being conducted in Hiranagar, a sensitive area along the International Border, with personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), Army, and CRPF working in close coordination. The Special Operations Group (SOG) of JKP is actively engaged in the gun battle, ensuring that no escape routes remain open for the terrorists.

Senior officials, including DGP Nalin Prabhat, have been personally overseeing the operation, with additional reinforcements deployed to strengthen the search efforts.

High Alert in the Region

The security establishment remains on high alert as forces continue to scour the area for any remaining threats. The operation is part of a larger effort to curb cross-border infiltration and eliminate terror threats in Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials have assured that every effort is being made to neutralize the terrorists and ensure the safety of local residents. The operation is ongoing, with more updates expected as search teams close in on the suspected hideouts.
