Habitual Bovine smuggler detained under PSA by Udhampur Police
In a major step to curb criminal activities in the District Udhampur, Police have booked and detained a habitual bovine smuggler under the J&K Public Safety Act (PSA) for his notorious activities in bovine smuggling on the detention orders issued by the District Magistrate Udhampur.
The accused namely Lakhit Ali @Liaqat Ali S/O Abdul Jageel is a resident of Sira Manjla, Mahni, Ramnagar and stands booked in a number of bovine cases registered in the District. He has become a threat to the peaceful atmosphere in the district, this warranting authorities to detain him under Public Safety Act.
