SAMBA POLICE WORKED OUT THEFT CASE; 04 ACCUSED ARRESTED, STOLEN ITEMS WORTH RUPEES 2 LAKHS RECOVERED

Samba, May 04, 2025: Samba Police has worked out a theft case registered at Police Station Samba, arrested four accused and recovered stolen items worth rupees two lakhs approximately from their possession.
On 02.05.2025, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba by one Ankur Goyal S/o Rajinder Goyal R/o A/P Border Road Samba stating therein that some unknown persons have stolen aluminum Coils and other items from factory premises of M/S Alstrong Enterprise India Pvt. Ltd Phase II SIDCO Samba.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 128/2025 U/S 331(4)/305 BNS was registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a police team headed by Incharge PP Rakh Amb Talli has rounded up three suspects who upon sustained questioning confessed their involvement in the instant case. The arrested accused have been identified as Nikhil Katal S/o Balwan Singh R/o Channi Jassu Tehsil and District Samba, Tarsem Lal S/o Kartar Chand R/o Garhban Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu and Sandeep Kumar S/o Som Raj R/o Sadoh Camp Tehsil and District Samba.
During further interrogation, the accused persons disclosed the name of another person, a Scrap dealer, namely Abhay Mahajan S/o Neelam Kumar Gupta R/o Samba who was the receiver of the stolen property. Accordingly, Police arrested the said Scrap dealer and recovered the stolen items.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
The recovery has been made under the supervision of SHO PS Samba, DySP Hqrs Samba and under the overall supervision of SSP Samba
