Drone Debris Falls in Taloor Village, Samba’s Sumb Block; No Casualties Reported

Samba (Jammu & Kashmir), May 10, 2025: Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, a piece of al drone fell in Taloor village of the Sumb block in Samba district late Friday night, causing panic among locals.

Villagers reported hearing a loud noise from the sky, followed by a metallic object crashing ona roof top. Local police reached the spot immediately upon receiving the information and cordoned off the area for investigation.

Preliminary findings suggest that the object is part of a drone which is sent by the Pakistani Army & intercepted & destructed by Indian Air Defence System. Forensic analysis of the debris is currently underway by security agencies.

No Loss of Life or Property:
Fortunately, the debris landed on the roof top, and no injuries or damage to property have been reported. Authorities have urged residents to remain alert and report any suspicious objects or activities without delay.
Heightened Vigilance Ordered:
With the current rise in cross-border tensions, security forces have been put on high alert in the border regions. Officials have advised the public to follow official advisories strictly and avoid spreading rumors.
