Samba Fort Hosts Grand Yoga Session Ahead of International Yoga Day 2025

Samba, June 17, 2025 – In a serene blend of heritage and wellness, Samba Fort in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district became the backdrop for a majestic yoga session organized as a prelude to the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025. Held on Tuesday morning, the event was led by the District Administration and the AYUSH Department under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Sh. Rajesh Sharma.
Hundreds of participants gathered at the historic fort, embracing the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” The session featured a series of yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and meditation, promoting physical and mental well-being. The event highlights Samba district’s commitment to fostering holistic health and community unity in alignment with the global celebration of yoga on June 21.
