The SSC Junior Translator in CSOL exam is conducted in two stages:

Paper-I: Computer-Based Examination (Objective Type)

Paper-II: Translation and Essay (Conventional Type)

The salary of Junior Translator in CSOL falls under the pay scale of Rs.35400-112400/- (Level 6). Along with this, they are also entitled to other benefits like DA, HRA, and other allowances.

  1. Eligibility:

To apply for the SSC Junior Translator in CSOL exam, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan refugee/PIO/OCI.
  • Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 1st January of the year of examination. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.
  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or Master’s degree in any subject with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.

  1. Selection Process:

The selection process for SSC Junior Translator in CSOL exam consists of two stages:

  • Paper-I: Candidates who qualify in Paper-I will be eligible for Paper-II.
  • Paper-II: Candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in Paper-II will be considered for selection.

Candidates who qualify both the papers will be recommended for appointment by SSC based on their merit and preference of posts.
