SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 7 MORE VEHICLES INCLUDING ONE EXCAVATOR FOR ILLEGAL MINING

116 Vehicles Seized For Illegal Mining In Seven Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh

Samba, Aug 17 : In continuation to drive against illegal mining launched on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has seized seven (07) more vehicles including one excavator which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba.

Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Samba Rajeshwar Singh and SHO Police Station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized seven (07) more vehicles including one excavator being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district.

The seized vehicles are : One JCB without registration No., five Dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21G-7098, JK21H-0430, JK21H-6739, JK02CT-4277 & JK21G-0372 and one tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK21G-5583.

Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total one hundred sixteen (116) vehicles have been seized in past seven months for illegal mining by Samba police after launching special drive against illegal mining. Police would continue checking the wrongdoings of mining mafia till illegal mining is completely stopped in the district.
