SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS ACCUSED FATHER ON COMPLAINT OF HEINOUS CRIME LODGED BY HIS MINOR DAUGHTER

Police Looking Into Complaints Of Girls Sensitively & Sensibly : SSP Samba Benam Tosh

Samba, August 27 : Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, police has arrested accused father on complaint of heinous crime lodged by his minor daughter in Samba.

The arrested accused has been identified as Rajesh r/o tehsil and district Samba.

17-year-old minor daughter of the above mentioned accused father, who happens to be a student, lodged a written complaint with police levelling serious allegations against her own father. The matter being heinous, ugly & cognizable in nature, police registered a case FIR No.199/2023 at Police Station Samba and arrested the accused father who has been remanded to police custody for seven days and his interrogation is underway.

Investigation of the case is being conducted by a police team comprising of Investigating Officer (IO) SI Shabir Ahmed and SHO Police Station Samba Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.

Pertinently, Samba Police on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh is looking into complaints of girls sensitively & sensibly and taking stern legal action against the perpetrators of crime against girls by registering FIRs under appropriate sections of law and arresting them.
