Ati Maha Vishnu Yagya concludes with ‘Puranahuti’ at Samba

 SAMBA: The 108 Kundiye Ati Maha Vishnu Yagya, which started on January 26 at Samba, in the memory of the soldiers who martyred for the sake of country, concluded with `Purnahuti’ on Sunday.

On the concluding day of the Yagya, performed in presence of Bal Sant Shri Yogeshwar Das Ji Maharaj, there was a lot of enthusiasm among those who participated in the Yagya and others offering prayers there.

As usual today also, Guru Deeksha started at 8 am and Havan started at 11 am. The National Anthem was sung by the participants as usual and it was followed by special prayers. Purnahuti was performed in the Pradhan Havan Kund at around 2.30 pm. It ended with Kanjak Pujan by Sant Bal Yogeshwar Das Ji Maharaj.

On the last day of the Ati Vishnu Mahayagya, thousands of devotees gathered around the Jagyashaala and took `Parikrma’.

Besides the hosts sitting in the Havan for 11 consecutive days with Saint Bal Yogeshwar Das Ji Maharaj, performed Purnahuti. At the time of Purnahuti and Aarti, a large number of devotees stood around the Yagyashala and showered flowers. During the Yagya on Sunday, a huge crowd of people doing circumambulation also gathered and there was competition among the people to do maximum circumambulations.

At was great attraction for the thousands of devotees when the flowers were showered by a helicopter on the Yagyasala during Purnaahuti. As soon as the helicopter appeared in the sky, the people present inside and outside the pandal started cheering. After this, colourful flowers were showered all around the Yagyashala from the helicopter. During this, a lot of enthusiasm was seen among those present there.

Sant Bal Yogeshwar Das Ji Maharaj thanked the devotees for successfully completing the Yagya. Expressing gratitude to the Yagya Committee, PHE, Medical and Police for keeping strict security arrangements, he said that it was difficult to complete the Yagya without the cooperation of these people.

Former Union Minister and DAP Chairman, Ghulam Nabi Azad, State BJP president, Ravinder Raina also participated in the Yagya besides, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Shakti Pathak and SSP Samba Benam Tosh.
