Dr Ab Hamid Zargar assumes charge as Chief Medical Officer Doda
DODA: Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar on Saturday afternoon took over as Chief Medical Officer Doda replacing Dr Mohammad Yaqoob Mir who has been transferred to Kishtwar as Chief Medical Officer.
On this occasion, the outgoing CMO Dr M Y Mir and staff accorded a warm welcome to Dr Ab Hamid Zargar on his joining as CMO Doda. Dr Mir apprised him about the functioning of the health department and expressed hope that the District will prosper and witness a new era of success in the health sector under his able guidance.
Soon after taking the charge as CMO Doda, Dr Zargar took an introductory meeting with the staff of all sections/schemes and asked them to put in their best efforts to provide best possible health care services to the people.
Dr Zargar also expressed his gratitude to the gathering of officers and officials and thanked them for their love and respect he was accorded on the occasion.
Pertinent to mention here that Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar has served the health department in different capacities including BMO Bhaderwah, BMO Gandoh, MS, DH Ramban and CMO Rajouri. He has won much public appreciation in these areas for his style of work and running health administration.
The officer has a glorious past and is known for his excellent services & calibre wherever he has been posted.
