SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 11 MORE VEHICLES FOR ILLEGAL MINING
178 Vehicles Seized For Illegal Mining In Nine Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, October 8 : Continuing vigorous drive against illegal mining launched on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police has seized eleven (11) more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba.
Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sumeet Sharma, SHO Police Station Purmandal Vijay Verma, SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak, SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh and Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Tali PSI Davinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar, DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized eleven (11) more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district.
The seized vehicles are : Three (03) Dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK02CG-5983, JK21E-2447 & JK19A-2923, two (02) tippers bearing registration Nos. JK02CS-9114 & one without registration No, six (06) tractor trolleys bearing registration Nos. JK08A-9963, JK21G-1766, JK21H-1732 & JK21J-5547 & two without registration No.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total one hundred seventy eight (178) vehicles have been seized in nine months for illegal mining by Samba police after launching special drive against illegal mining. Police would not allow illegal mining in Samba district and would take yet more stringent actions against mining mafia.
