Border Welfare Organization puts forward public interest issues before the officials under Back to Village Phase 5
Ramgarh: Under the Back to Village Phase 5, in Panchayat Chak Salarian of District Samba, the officials coming from outside, being led by Advisor LG, Shri RR Bhatnagar, reached the Panchayat house and heard the problems of the villagers. During the program, Border Welfare Organization Chairman Avinash Choudhary presented the public interest issues, especially the problems of the border people, before the officials. Avinash Choudhary said that the effect of drug addiction is increasing day by day in the border area, although the police administration is working to stop it, there is still a need to work on it. Along with this, the construction of Degree College in Ramgarh and Forensic University in Rada should be started at the earliest possible so that all-round development can take place. Avinash further said that people have been doing farming on the lands since 75 years of independence but till date they have not got the ownership rights of the lands, hence their demand is that they should be given the ownership rights of the land. He told that nefarious activities continue from Pakistan side every day on the border, in view of which C.H. C Ramgarh should be upgraded soon and bullet proof ambulances should be arranged for the border areas so that people can be rescued safely in time. He further said that many villages in the border areas are deprived of the benefits of border reservation, they should be included in this list. After listening to all these burning issues highlighted by Avinash Choudhary, the officials assured that all these problems will soon be put before the state administration and every effort will be made to get them resolved.DC Samba, SSP Samba, ADDC Samba, ACD Samba, SDM Vijaypur, Tehsildar Ramgarh, BDO Ramgarh and other district officials and panchayat representatives were also present on the occasion.
