AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan Alleges Harassment as ED Conducts Early Morning Raid
New Delhi – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan has accused the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of harassment after they conducted a raid at his residence early this morning. In a statement made around 7 AM, Khan claimed that the ED’s actions are part of an ongoing effort to arrest him under the pretext of a search warrant.Khan highlighted the difficult circumstances surrounding the raid, stating that his mother-in-law, who was recently diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery just four days ago, is currently staying at his home. He expressed frustration over the timing and nature of the raid, emphasizing that he has cooperated with the authorities and responded to every notice issued to him.”Their only motive is to arrest me and stop our work,” Khan alleged, suggesting that the ED’s actions are politically motivated. He accused the agency of filing false cases against him over the past two years as part of a broader campaign to create difficulties for him and the AAP.Despite the pressure, Khan remained defiant, stating, “We are neither going to bow down to them nor are we going to be afraid of them. They will send us to jail.” He expressed hope that, just as he had received justice in court in the past, he would be vindicated once again.
