Absconder Wanted Since 2021 Arrested by Jammu Police
Jammu, December 5, 2024: Continuing its drive against absconders, Jammu Police apprehended an individual wanted in connection with case FIR No. 62/18 U/S 353, 336, 147, 148 RPC registered at Police Station Miran Sahib.
The arrest was carried out by a police team from PS Miran Sahib, led by SHO Inspector Bopinder Singh, under the supervision of SDPO R.S. Pura and SP Headquarters. The accused, identified as Fazi Gujjar, son of Gani Gujjar, resident of Dak Bungalow, Maralian, R.S. Pura, had been absconding and evading arrest since 2021.
The absconder will now be produced before the court, and the arrest warrant issued against him under Section 512 CrPC will be executed. The police reaffirmed their commitment to taking strict action against absconders in the region.
