ADC Samba Reviews Arrangements For Republic Day Celebrations-2023

 Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Samba Mr. Rakesh Dubey today convened a meeting to review the arrangements of Republic Day- 2023.

The meeting was attended by ASP Samba, CPO and District officers of all Line Departments besides executive engineer of PWD, PDD and PHE and CEO Samba, Vice Pr. GDC and other senior officer attended the meeting.

The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at Sport Stadium Samba whereas similar functions would be held at all Tehsil headquarter besides all institutions of District Samba.

It was also given out that contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC Senior and Junior and various Government and Private schools.

During the meeting ADC Samba was apprised of the upcoming rehearsals for cultural items and March Past. The arrangements for Drinking water facility, power supply, Parking facility, first aid arrangements, Sanitation, Security, Public Address System, Fore tenders, preparation of tableaus, Seating arrangements besides arrangements of Memento, prizes distribution and refreshments were also discussed.

ADC Samba gave directions to the concerned officers to maintain cleanliness in and around the venue. He also directed for arrangements of Health facilities and traffic arrangements. 

It was also decided that rehearsal of shall be start from 10th of January 2023, besides screening of cultural items shall be conducted on next date by the designated committee.
