ADGP Anand Jain Chairs High-Level Security and Crime Review Meeting in Samba
Samba, November 28: Additional Director General (ADG) of Police, Anand Jain, chaired a crucial security and crime review meeting in Samba, emphasizing enhanced vigilance and coordination among agencies to combat pressing security challenges.
The meeting witnessed the participation of senior officials from the Army, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), intelligence agencies, and the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Discussions centered on key issues, including countering infiltration, smuggling, narcotics trade, and organized crime in the region.
ADG Jain issued directives to intensify border surveillance and ensure swift action on credible intelligence inputs to curb cross-border infiltration and smuggling activities. The meeting also focused on strengthening inter-agency collaboration for actionable intelligence sharing and ensuring justice delivery in organized crime cases.
