ADGP Anand Jain Reviews Progress of UAPA Cases in Jammu
Jammu, November 19, 2024: Additional Director General (ADG) of Police, Anand Jain, chaired a high-level meeting to review the status of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) cases in the Jammu district. Senior officials, including DIG JKS Range, SSP Jammu, and SDPOs, attended the session.
The meeting focused on the progress of investigations, filing of charge sheets, and the status of convictions under UAPA. ADG Anand Jain stressed the importance of rigorous and professional investigations, timely submission of charge sheets, and effective prosecution through close collaboration with the Prosecution Department.
Expressing satisfaction with the ongoing efforts, the ADG commended the officers for their dedication and progress in handling UAPA cases. He urged the team to maintain high standards of investigation and prosecution to ensure justice and strengthen the rule of law in the region.
