Agriculture department organizes massive rally under Meri Maati Mera Desh at Rehmble
UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 08: A massive rally to promote “NASHA MUKT ABHIYAN” was today organised at Rehmble by the Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department here under Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign.
A large number of PRI members, School Children, Officers of Agriculture & other Departments and local farmers participated in the rally held under the guidance of Sanjay Anand, Chief Agriculture Officer.
A Plantation drive was also organized at Panchayat Ghar Rehmble in which saplings of bee friendly plants were planted by Shiv Parshotam Jyoti SDAO, Pritpal Singh, Shamsher Singh, Sushma Sharma and Sushma Abrol Sarpanches of the adjoining Panchayats.
A pledge to promote the nasha mukti campaign was also taken by all the participants.
Meanwhile, a similar rally was flagged off by Neetu Gupta, Secretary Finance JKUT at village Kashirah, witnessing the participation of hundreds of local farmers, PRI members and school children.
