Allahabad High Court denied protection to a Muslim married woman who was in a live-in relationship with her Hindu friend. Court said legally wedded Muslim woman cannot go outside marriage and her relationship with another man would amount to ‘Zina’ & ‘haram’ as per Sharia law. Court also imposed a cost of ₹2,000 on them & said criminal act can’t be supported by court.
