Army Fires on Suspicious Movement Along LoC in Rajouri’s Sunderbani Sector

Feb 19: Alert Army troops early morning on Wednesday opened fire on seeing a suspicious movement along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Troops deployed in the forward areas resorted to a brief firing on seeing a suspicious movement in the Sunderbani sector,” said official sources.

“Terrorists movement is apprehended close to the border but troops are keeping a close watch and surveillance,” they said

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a high-level meeting and reviewed the security scenario in Jammu Division.

The Lieutenant Governor said that focus should be on complete wipe-out of terrorism from Jammu Division.
