Auto hit badly by speeding bus: Injureds shifted to hospital
In an accident that happened hour before, an auto laden with vegetables collided with a bus coming from Pathankot side near petrol pump cum gas station near Sabzi Mandi Samba. In this accident, the auto was crushed badly. The injureds people shifted to hospital. One of the 3 injureds is shifted to GMC Jammu. The injured auto driver who is shifted to Jammu is from Thalora Mandi Samba & his name is Sanju.
It is pertinent to mention that due to closing of SIDCO chowk crossing, the autos from Sabzi Mandi Samba come to the wrong side of the road because the next crossing is at Mansar Morh. One of the auto driver on the condition of anonymity told Amba Times that if they adopt Mansar Morh crossing route, then it adds near about 2kms more to their journey for Bus Stand Samba chowk which is just 500 metres from the Sabzi Mandi & add additional costs to the fare & leads to loss of money. He also requested on behalf of Auto drivers & all people who are associated with Sabzi Mandi that kindly reopen the SIDCO chowk crossing so that they can earn their livelihood without facing any hazards.
It is pertinent to mention that Samba times has requested so many times to district administration to reopen this SIDCO chowk crossing so that such type of incidents do not happen again.
