Bar Association Samba announced Opening of District Consumer Forum Bench
Samba, December 30, 2024: In a significant development, the Bar Association Samba has announced the inauguration of a long-awaited bench of the District Consumer Forum in District Samba. This achievement comes following directions from the Hon’ble Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh, along with the support of the Principal District and Session Judge Samba and the Deputy Commissioner Samba.
The inaugural event will take place at 1:00 PM on December 31, 2024, at the Old District Administration Complex, SIDCO Samba, which also serves as the present office of the Municipal Council Samba. The ceremony will be presided over by the Principal District and Session Judge Samba, alongside the Deputy Commissioner Samba and the Chairman of the District Consumer Forum Samba.
A lunch will follow the inauguration at 2:00 PM, with all members of the Bar Association invited to join the celebrations.
This milestone reflects the tireless efforts of the Bar Association Samba under the leadership of its President, Mr. Ajay Gupta, and Vice President, Mr. Siddarth Pathania, along with the active support of other office bearers, including Mr. Sandeep Bharti (General Secretary), Mrs. Tania Pargal (Joint Secretary), and Mr. Vishal Dogra (Treasurer).
The establishment of this bench will address consumer grievances more effectively within the district and is a moment of pride for the legal fraternity and residents of Samba.
