Mumbai, July 17, 2024 – In a groundbreaking move aimed at empowering the youth, the Maharashtra government has launched the “Ladli Bhai Yojna.” This new scheme is set to provide financial support to young individuals pursuing higher education and skill development.

Under the Ladli Bhai Yojna, the following financial aid will be granted:

  1. Students who pass the 12th grade: Eligible youth will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 6,000 to support their further studies and skill development.
  2. Diploma Pursuers: Those enrolled in diploma courses will be granted Rs 8,000 per month, helping them cover educational expenses and ease the financial burden on their families.
  3. Graduate Students: Graduates will receive Rs 10,000 per month, providing substantial support as they pursue advanced degrees or enter the job market.

The scheme is designed to encourage higher education and vocational training among the youth of Maharashtra, promoting self-reliance and reducing dropout rates. By easing financial constraints, the government aims to empower young individuals to pursue their academic and professional goals without economic hindrances.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, announcing the scheme, emphasized the importance of education and skill development in building a prosperous future for the state. “Our youth are the backbone of Maharashtra’s progress. With the Ladli Bhai Yojna, we aim to ensure that every young individual has the financial support they need to succeed,” he said.
