BJP State Vice President & MLA Samba Surjit Singh Slathia starts repair work on Samba-Mansar road

Samba: BJP State Vice President and MLA Surjit Singh Salathia has provided relief to the people of the area by starting the work of tarring in the patchwork on Samba-Mansar road. This road was in bad condition for a long time, due to which the local people and passersby were facing problems.

Speaking on the occasion, Surjit Singh Salathia said that due to bad condition on this road, many accidents have taken place in which many youngsters lost their lives. Therefore, repair of this road was among his priority. He said that patchwork is being done with the help of Rs 60 lakh for the improvement of this road. At present this work is being done by the RNB department, but later it will be brought under BRO (Border Roads Organisation) so that the road can be improved permanently.

Surjit Singh Salathia also announced that a provision of Rs 20 lakh has been made for paving the road leading to the cremation ground in Balol village. He said that the BJP government is developing not only the main roads but also the roads leading to rural areas and religious places on priority basis.

The local people expressed their gratitude to the MLA and the BJP leadership and said that these improvement works will reduce accidents and make traffic smooth. Surjit Singh Salathia assured the public that any kind of negligence in development works will not be tolerated and the quality of work will be ensured.
