Doda, July 16– Late Tuesday night, a brief exchange of fire occurred between security forces and terrorists in the Bhatta area of Doda district. This follows a deadly attack by militants in the Dessa area on Monday, which resulted in the martyrdom of four army jawans, including a Major, and a police officer.Security forces have been actively pursuing the terrorists who managed to escape after the Dessa attack. In the latest incident in Bhatta, security forces, along with Village Defence Committee (VDC) members, have cordoned off the area as part of their ongoing search operations.The situation remains tense as security forces intensify their hunt for the perpetrators.
