Camps Organized for Speedy Disbursement of Payments for Acquired Land for Border Fencing and BOP

Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba, Abhishek Sharma, two camps were organized by Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Samba, Dr. Kusum Chib, at the villages of Suchetpur and Gular in Tehsil Samba. The purpose of these camps was to expedite the disbursement of payments to the rightful claimants whose lands have been acquired for border fencing (135 ft) and Border Outposts (BOP).

Notices regarding these camps were widely circulated through field agencies and local Lambardars and Chowkidars to ensure maximum participation of beneficiaries. During the camps, necessary documents were collected from the beneficiaries, and their payment formalities were completed.

Dr. Kusum Chib directed the Lambardars and Chowkidars to inform any beneficiaries who are not currently residing in the village to submit the requisite documents. Additionally, field staff and local residents were instructed to complete the mutation of inheritance in cases where the original beneficiaries had recently passed away.

During the camp, a dispute arose between co-sharers regarding payment distribution. Dr. Kusum Chib informed the shareholders that if the dispute could not be resolved amicably, the payment would be deposited in the Honorable Court for further disbursal.
