Chandrayaan-3 Mission: Vikram Lander soft-landed on Moon again, evoked possibility of Human Mission

In a major development, Vikram Lander successfully underwent a hop experiment on the Moon on September 3.
On command, it fired the engines, elevated itself by about 40 cm as expected and landed safely at a distance of 30 – 40 cm away. ISRO says it exceeded its mission objectives.
What’s the importance of Hop Experiment
This ‘kick-start’ evokes hopes of in-future returning with samples from the moon & possible human missions.
All systems performed nominally and are healthy. Deployed Ramp, ChaSTE and ILSA were folded back and redeployed successfully after the experiment.
