Days Ahead Of Yatra Start, Light Snowfall At Amarnath
SRINAGAR: Fresh light snowfall occurred at Amarnath cave in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, while rain lashed the plains on Saturday as the weather office has forecast inclement weather during the next 24 hours.
“Fresh snowfall occurred at Panjtarni including Amarnath cave on Saturday morning. Weather is likely to remain erratic till June 21,” an official said.
He said Amarnath cave recorded 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation on the ground.
