DC Samba Chairs District Rent Assessment Committee Meeting, Finalizes Rent Cases

Samba , October 22, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Sh. Rajesh Sharma, chaired a District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC) meeting today at the Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex, Nandani Hills, Samba. The meeting aimed to finalize rent assessments for buildings used by various government departments in the district.

A total of 12 rent cases were reviewed during the meeting, involving buildings occupied by departments such as School Education, Handicrafts, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Health, and Police. The committee conducted detailed evaluations, ensuring that the rent rates proposed were in line with current market values and that the requirements of each department were properly considered.

After thorough discussions, nine (09) cases were approved for finalization, while three (03) were deferred due to technical issues that require further examination.

The meeting was attended by key district officials, including DC Excise Sh. Sanjay Gupta, ADC Jagdish Singh, ACR, CMO, SDM, XENs, and other concerned officers.
