DC Udhampur, Saloni Rai, IAS chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of various schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the district. The meeting focused on evaluating the advancements made towards achieving the goals of the JJM, specifically the provision of Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) and the certification of Har Ghar Jal, which ensures every household has access to safe drinking water.

During the meeting, Saloni Rai emphasized the urgency of expediting the work to meet the targets. She reviewed the current status of implementation, identifying areas where progress had been made and highlighting obstacles that needed to be addressed. Key points discussed included:
