DC Udhampur Chairs Crucial Meeting on Revenue Building Projects
Udhampur, July 4, 2024 – Deputy Commissioner of Udhampur, Ms. Saloni Rai, chaired an important meeting with officers from the Revenue Department to discuss the upcoming construction of new Revenue buildings in the district. Emphasizing the significance of having ready land parcels, she directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) to ensure that the necessary land is available for these projects.
During the meeting, Ms. Rai highlighted the critical need for modern infrastructure to improve the efficiency and accessibility of Revenue services. She stressed that the timely availability of land is essential to avoid any delays in the commencement and completion of the construction projects.
The DC urged the Revenue Department officers to work in coordination with other relevant departments to expedite the process of land identification and acquisition. She also asked for regular progress reports to ensure that the project stays on track.
The meeting marks a proactive step towards enhancing the administrative infrastructure in Udhampur, promising better service delivery to the residents of the district.
