Deputation of Samba people met with SSP Samba for establishing Police Post at erstwhile police station Samba
A deputation of Samba people met with SSP Samba Vinay Kumar for establishing Police Post at erstwhile police station Samba, the building of which is in defunct condition after the shifting of police station to the newly constructed building near GREFF (Mansar Morh) Samba. Deputation first of all welcomed the decision of shifting police station & also appreciated SSP Samba in this regard. Then they raised some issues which cropped up after shifting of police station such as Security Concerns, defunct building, dwindling of earning revenues etc. As the town population is more than 30 thousands including Mandiyats so shifting of police station has raised serious concerns & the town needs a full fledged police post to deal with this situation. Shifting of police station has also dwindled earning avenues of the people & above all it is not possible for everyone to go to police station near GREFF in case of any eventuality at the odd times & some people also not afford to go there as it was near about 2 kms from Samba Bazar. SSP Samba patiently listened the deputation & assured full help in this regard.
He said the new police station near GREFF was the need of the hour because modern police needed state of art facilities, cyber cells, surveillance equipments which cannot be placed in the small building of old police station at Samba.
He also informed that recently modern technology cameras were installed at various points in the district and the state of art technology of surveillance is brought. He also invited the deputation & people of Samba to visit the new State of Art police station which was the need of the hour as the old police station is not capable enough to hold all the modern equipments of surveillance & state of art facilities. Regarding their concern he informed that
it is not in his hands to sanction a full fledged police post there but will convey to higher authorities in this regard & meanwhile make temporary arrangements there for their convenience.
The deputation highly appreciated the SSP Samba for listening their demand carefully & for making temporary arrangements. सांबा के लोगों का एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल पूर्व पुलिस स्टेशन सांबा में पुलिस चौकी स्थापित करने के लिए एसएसपी सांबा विनय कुमार से मिला, जिसकी इमारत जीआरईएफएफ (मानसर मोड़) सांबा के पास नवनिर्मित भवन में पुलिस स्टेशन को स्थानांतरित करने के बाद निष्क्रिय हालत में है। सबसे पहले प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने पुलिस स्टेशन को स्थानांतरित करने के फैसले का स्वागत किया और इस संबंध में एसएसपी सांबा की सराहना भी की। फिर उन्होंने कुछ मुद्दे उठाए जो पुलिस स्टेशन के स्थानांतरण के बाद सामने आए जैसे सुरक्षा चिंताएं, निष्क्रिय भवन, राजस्व आय में कमी आदि। चूंकि शहर की आबादी मंडियों सहित 30 हजार से अधिक है, इसलिए पुलिस स्टेशन के स्थानांतरण ने गंभीर चिंताओं को जन्म दिया है और इस स्थिति से निपटने के लिए शहर को एक पूर्ण पुलिस चौकी की आवश्यकता है। पुलिस स्टेशन के स्थानांतरण ने लोगों के कमाई के रास्ते भी कम कर दिए हैं और सबसे बड़ी बात यह है कि हर किसी के लिए किसी भी आकस्मिक स्थिति में जीआरईएफएफ के पास पुलिस स्टेशन जाना संभव नहीं है एसएसपी सांबा ने प्रतिनिधिमंडल की बात धैर्यपूर्वक सुनी और इस संबंध में पूरी मदद का आश्वासन दिया।
उन्होंने कहा कि जीआरईएफएफ के पास नया पुलिस स्टेशन समय की मांग है, क्योंकि आधुनिक पुलिस को अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं, साइबर सेल, निगरानी उपकरणों की आवश्यकता है, जो सांबा में पुराने पुलिस स्टेशन की छोटी इमारत में नहीं रखे जा सकते। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि हाल ही में जिले के विभिन्न बिंदुओं पर आधुनिक तकनीक वाले कैमरे लगाए गए हैं और निगरानी की अत्याधुनिक तकनीक लाई गई है। उन्होंने प्रतिनिधिमंडल और सांबा के लोगों को नए अत्याधुनिक पुलिस स्टेशन का दौरा करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया, जो समय की मांग है, क्योंकि पुराना पुलिस स्टेशन निगरानी और अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं के सभी आधुनिक उपकरणों को रखने में सक्षम नहीं है। उनकी चिंता के बारे में उन्होंने बताया वहां एक पूर्ण पुलिस चौकी को मंजूरी देना उनके हाथ में नहीं है, लेकिन इस संबंध में उच्च अधिकारियों को सूचित किया जाएगा और इस बीच उनकी सुविधा के लिए वहां अस्थायी व्यवस्था की जाएगी।
प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने एसएसपी सांबा की उनकी मांग को ध्यान से सुनने और अस्थायी व्यवस्था करने के लिए बहुत प्रशंसा की। प्रतिनिधिमंडल में सेवानिवृत्त प्रिंसिपल रयोर सिंह, सेवानिवृत्त लेक्चरर डीके भट्टी, मनमोहन सिंह, टीम जम्मू से अनुपम संब्याल रेजी, राकेश सिंह पिंटा व्यवसायी, राहुल संब्याल चेयरमैन यूथ फॉर सोसाइटी और टीम जम्मू से विकेश अंबा और अन्य शामिल हैं।
